As an Oakland Raiders fan, I use the summer months as my preparation for the football season. While my boys in silver and black are in training camp, I am mapping out my activities for the season, buying Raiders tickets and deciding which of my comrades will be attending which games with me. It is a full time job when you consider I have a fantasy football addiction and love Madden as well. I am buying this season’s NFL football tickets from the number one ticket marketplace on the net, Coast to Coast Tickets.
For most of the Oakland Raiders home games I will be taking my father or my best bud Tom. I’m sure my dad is going to fight for Oakland Raiders versus Cleveland Browns tickets and Tom is going to freak out if I don’t hold my Pittsburgh Steelers tickets for him. I’m sure my girlfriend won’t mind the Raiders versus Baltimore Ravens tickets because she mostly goes for the beer and cotton candy. Tom is also going to want to talk me into Raiders versus Denver Broncos tickets because we have deep seated hate for the Broncos. I think I will give my dad Kansas City Chiefs tickets for his birthday November 19th. My girl is from San Diego so I might let her use my San Diego Chargers tickets since the game is on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and we’ll be back from her parents place in San Jose. I am going to need at least eight Cincinnati Bengals tickets for the Raiders home game against the orange kitties. My friends from college are coming up for that one and it is going to be a party!
This season, it’s looking like I am going to need to attend some away games as well. I am thinking of heading north with some Seattle Seahawks tickets and over to the other side of the country for the last game of the season against New York. I know my mother would love me to spend Christmas in there and she’ll freak out if I come with New York Jets tickets for us. Mom has been a football fan since she was young and used to come to all the Oakland Raiders games with my dad and me. Her favorite team however is the New York Giants and there really is no way to talk her out of it, I’ve tried.
I can’t wait to see what this Oakland Raiders season has in store for me. Our pre-season looks pretty competitive. Our first game of 2006 will be against the Philadelphia Eagles at home. We are meeting the Seattle Seahawks in the final pre-season game but I personally want Raiders versus Detroit Lions tickets because I think that game will be the best pre-season match up. I can’t wait to see the Oakland Raiders stomp the San Francisco 49ers in October because it should be a great game.
All in all I am hoping that this rebuilding year is a successful one and I hope for some exciting wins and well-fought losses. I’ll be glad I bought my Oakland Raiders tickets early this year! Go Raiders!
